I started my career as a Family Photographer.  I loved taking pics but loved observing the family dynamics more.   This led me to complete my degree in Child and Youth Development.  During this time I was teaching Salsa and Swing Dance to high school students and started a non-profit supporting families with neurodivergent children.  I loved that so much that I completed my Masters in Counselling to specialize in helping people heal their mind and body.

Since receiving my registration as a Clinical Counsellor I have worked with Community Agencies, the Ministry of Children and Family Development, Fraser Health and in Private Practice.  I have supported children, youth, adults, couples and families in exploring themselves, their challenges, and strategic ways to heal and move forward.  This brings me to today.

I have combined my love of movement, nature and connection to create EcoTalk, Outdoor Talk Therapy.  Sessions take place around Fort Langley BC. rain, snow, or shine.  We meet at an agreed upon location and talk.  The nice part about being outside is that science shows that nature can improve your immune system and increase your capacity for stress.  It is also a great way to learn how to be mindful and find peace.  The most recent addition to my practice is Lil'Prince the Therapy Dog.  He is happy to join us for Sit'n Spill or Walk'n Talk sessions- just let me know.
