Byron Smith

Byron dreams of transforming his land into a vibrant hub of community and connection.  He envisions a space where people gather, share stories, and celebrate the wonders of life. Through his work with Ecotalk, he co-facilitates the Practice of Noticing group therapy program; encouraging others to engage deeply with their surroundings through micro- photography.

As a professional photographer he captures the essence of the natural world-up close and personal.  By exposing the hidden patterns in nature that most people don't see, he brings awareness to the interconnectedness of our universe.  Byron blends artistry with the beauty that surrounds him.  With a rich background as an artistic director, a retired pyrotechnic, and a musician, he brings a unique perspective to his homestead.   Byron also uses his percussion and leadership skills to facilitate drum circles under the open sky and is training to provide Cacao ceremonies.   He takes pride in fostering a sense of rhythm and unity, inviting everyone to join in the harmonious celebration of nature and community through connection.
